SHANGHAI, Aug. 16 (SMM) – Industrial growth of domestic enterprises above designated size slowed down in July on a monthly basis, China’s National Bureau of Statistics said.
The slowdown was due mainly to following three factors.
First, high temperature in many regions of China in July increased unit maintenance at domestic enterprises.

Second, the flooding hit some parts of south China, and this also affected industrial production in the affected regions.
Third, some regions sped up the elimination of inefficient capacities which failed to meet environmental requirements.
